BROKEN ARROW, OK -- Broken Arrow Police will be implementing aggressive traffic enforcement operations Friday.

In a news release, police say they hope to reduce collision causing traffic violations.

Broken Arrow Police officers will target aggressive drivers in the early morning hours on "Black Friday" to reduce the incidents of traffic violations.

To address the historically high number of traffic problems, local police officers will be out in force during the early morning hours of Friday to reduce the amount of traffic problems faced by local drivers.

Broken Arrow Police suggest you plan your holiday travels well in advance, allow yourself plenty of travel time, drive responsibly and be courteous to other drivers.

Staffing of officers working zero tolerance enforcement will increase significantly, in part utilizing funds provided by the Oklahoma Highway Safety Office.
