Reward Increased in Ottawa Co. Home Invasion

The family of an Ottawa County man murdered in March of this year has increased a reward of $5,000 to $8,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the persons responsible for his death.

TULSA, OK -- The family of an Ottawa County man murdered in March of this year has increased a reward of $5,000 to $8,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the persons responsible for his death. 

On March 24, the home of 64-year-old Sam Sanders's invaded by at least two masked gunmen in the early morning hours. 

Sanders was shot and killed by the intruders and other family members inside the home were assaulted.

Ottawa County Sheriff's Office investigators believe robbery was likely the motive and that the suspects live in the Northwest Missouri or the Northeast Oklahoma area.
