TULSA, OK -- A Tulsa woman who had dedicated her last 16 years to keeping Tulsa area kids safe is now retired.
Wednesday was the last day of work for Mary Beth Ogle.
She is been with Safe Kids Tulsa since it started in 1993, and just because she's retiring doesn't mean she leaving the program.
She says she will stay on as a volunteer.
"Its fun; it's in my blood. I absolutely love it. I love nursing; I love children, injury prevention which is the direction I got to take. It's been good to see this coalition grow from a handful to over a hundred people," said Mary Beth Ogle.
Ogle says of all the programs throughout the years, the car seat safety checks has been the most rewarding
