Police: East Tulsa Standoff Ends With Arrest

TULSA, OK -- Tulsa police say a 3-hour-long standoff with a 37-year-old man in east Tulsa came to an end Monday afternoon with an arrest of the suspect.

Police officers were at the home to serve an arrest warrant Monday afternoon in a neighborhood off 34th Street and Garnett.

Tulsa Police say Gregory Walker was a domestic assault and battery suspect with felony warrants and barricaded himself in the residence when police arrived.

Walker had a three-year-old inside with him, according to police. 

The child was not hurt in the incident and was placed in protective custody.  Walker was taken to the Tulsa County jail.
