Two People Injured After Car Crashes Into Tree In Tulsa

TULSA, OK -- Two people were taken to the hospital after their vehicle crashed into a tree.

The incident happened shortly before 1 a.m. Sunday at 9th and Louisville.

Officers with the Tulsa Police Department say the driver had been drinking and was speeding. The car jumped a curb, went airborne and then struck the tree, according to officers.

Four people were in the car at the time of the crash. The driver and passenger were hurt. EMSA transported them to the hospital.
