TULSA, OK --  Tulsa Police says the Wednesday morning arrests of five people may have solved as many as 40 burglaries in the city.

Police officers say the five were under surveillance when they broke into a Tulsa business near Pine and Lewis.

The burglary happened at 6:15 a.m. at the Rent Quik store in the Springdale Shopping Center.  The five were in the process of stealing several big screen TV's when they were apprehended by police.

Burglary detective Sgt. Brandon Watkins says they have been watching CraigsList for items stolen in those recent burglaries and advises burglary victims can do the same thing.

Watkins says the five are part of a larger group of people in Tulsa involved in this type of criminal activity.

Their investigation into the burglaries continues.
