Teen Dies After Falling Off Moving Vehicle

A 15-year-old has died from injuries he suffered after falling off a moving vehicle.

OKLAHOMA CITY -- A 15-year-old has died from injuries he suffered after falling off a moving vehicle, according to police.

Oklahoma City Police said on Tuesday they responded to a traffic accident in the 7600 block of South Ross where they discovered an unresponsive Jesus Comacho, 15, lying in the roadway.

Comacho was transported to OU Medical Center where he died Thursday morning.

Investigators determined Comacho had been riding on the running boards of a Ford Expedition when he fell off.

The driver of the vehicle, 17-year-old Jenny Cordova, was ticketed and released. Cordova faces complaints of reckless driving and not having a state driver's license.
