TULSA, OK -- Tulsa police arrested a driver after responding to an abandoned car that had been wrecked at the railroad crossing at 1300 N. Harvard at about 4 a.m. Saturday.

The car had smashed through a crossing arm which was lying broken by the tracks. The front end of the car had major damage, so police believe it may also have hit a train.

There was no driver in the vehicle, but Tulsa police found the man walking down the road with some abrasions to his arms - probably from the air bag deploying.

The man was arrested for outstanding warrants. Police were to contact Burlington Northern to see if a train had just passed through the intersection.
