Air Force Reservist Jailed on Counts of Rape, Possession of Child Porn

OKLAHOMA CITY -- An Air Force Reservist with Tinker Air Force Base is behind bars facing charges of committing sexual acts with a child.

Mickey Leckie, 45, is accused of sexually assaulting two 15-year-old girls on two separate occasions.

The first incident, according to Oklahoma City Police, happened February 6. In the incident report the victim said she was taken to a remote location where she said Leckie sexually assaulted her.

Following the incident, police said Leckie continued to contact the victim even buying the 15-year-old a cell phone so he and the victim could exchange explicit text and picture messages.

In the police report the victim describes the images as "nasty pictures." The report added the pictures Leckie sent showed naked women as well as pictures of Leckie exposing himself.

The other alleged incident happened on February 22. According to police, the victim, a friend of Leckie's daughter, was at Leckie's house when the sexual assault took place. The victim describes in the report that Leckie was kissing and touching her inappropriately. She said he grabbed her and said "don't you tell anyone."

"When something like this that continues to occur obviously at some point somebody is going to find out," Oklahoma City Police MSgt. Gary Knight.

Mickey Leckie was arrested on counts ranging from second-degree rape to possession of child porn.

It is not known if the two victims knew each other.

Police said "as routine we are continuing to investigate to see if more children may have been assaulted."

Leckie is being held in the Oklahoma County jail on $92,000 bond pending the filing of formal charges.
