A Sperry woman has been named top designer in an HGTV contest. Susan Eddings of Susan D. TULSA, OK -- A Tulsa woman has been named top designer in an HGTV contest. Susan Eddings of Susan D. Eddings Designs was awarded for her themed children's room: "Cowboy's Cabin."

She got the news on Friday when an episode of HGTV's "Top Ten Kids Themed Bedrooms of North America" aired.

Eddings became one of the top 10 finalists last fall, after the contest received entries from all over the United States and Canada.

"Cowboy's Cabin" was designed for a young boy, and it won over nautical, country cottage, beachside and other themed children's rooms.

Eddings has also hosted a decorating segment on The News On 6 noon newscast.
