TULSA, OK -- Two people were transported to a Tulsa hospital following a rollover accident Friday evening.

The accident happened at about 6:30 p.m. in the westbound lanes of the Broken Arrow Expressway, west of the I-44 overpass.

Officer Heather Weakley of the Tulsa Police Department says the accident happened after a vehicle cut a PT Cruiser off twice. The driver of the PT Cruiser swerved to avoid hitting the other vehicle, lost control and rolled the vehicle down an embankment.

The driver of the PT Cruiser, a 26-year-old man, and a girl, who officers said was about 4-years-old, were transported to a Tulsa hospital with minor injuries.

The other vehicle fled the scene, according to Officer Weakley. Police are looking for a dark colored, older Monte Carlo.

If you have any information about this accident, call Crime Stoppers at 596-COPS.
