TULSA COUNTY, OK -- The driver of a Cadillac that crashed into the side of a semi trailer truck is in fair condition, EMSA reports. The ambulance service transported the 69-year-old man to a Tulsa hospital after firefighters rescued him from his vehicle.

The two-vehicle accident happened just after 11 a.m. Sunday in the 4900 block of West 61st Street.

The accident took place at a four-way stop when police say the driver of the Cadillac drove under the truck's trailer. Witnesses say the driver of the vehicle was driving erratically before the vehicles collided.

Police at the scene believe the man may have suffered from a medical condition before striking the trailer of the semi truck. He was the only occupant in the vehicle.

Tulsa and Sapulpa fire departments combined in the rescue. The semi truck driver was not injured.
