Inmate Escapes From Atoka Correctional Center

ATOKA, OK -- An inmate was discovered missing from the McLeod Correctional Center in Atoka on Friday morning.

The Oklahoma Department of Corrections says Tracy D. Cartwright was wearing prison grays and is possibly traveling in a 2000 white Chevy Blazer with an Oklahoma tag 833-GKF.

Cartwright is a 42-year-old white male, 6'2" tall, 196 pounds with hazel eyes and brown hair. He has several tattoos including skulls, flames and "RIP Eric" on his left arm.

DOC says Cartwright is to be considered armed and dangerous.
