EDMOND, Oklahoma -- Edmond Police arrested four people suspected of growing marijuana at an Edmond residence. The operation was discovered on March 18 located at 105 N. Grand Fork Drive.

According to a police report, police were tipped off by a concerned citizen. The report stated the concerned citizen "had been inside the… residence several times over the last few months and observed marijuana plants being grown in the Northeast bedroom."

The report added, "The concerned citizen stated that they observed a lighting system and watering system for plants."

According to the detective who conducted the search in the home, "the odor was so strong you could smell it just outside the front door on the porch."

The report showed the four arrested, 21-year-old Graham Ross Anderson, 23-year-old Casey Morgan Thomas, 22-year-old Lori Dawn Reese, and 20-year-old Kierston Shae Burleson, allegedly went to great lengths to add their pot growing operation.

Police said they discovered a false wall had been built and ran the length of the north wall of the bedroom. They said a book shelf was built to hide the entry into the area behind the wall.

During the search of the room, police report finding marijuana plants growing in different stages. They also said they found 32 marijuana buds hanging on a string in the same area.

Maybe even more startling than the amount of drugs that was uncovered was a job description for one of the suspects police arrested. Lori Reese wrote on her Facebook page that from October 2008 to present she has been working as a substitute teacher. She said she works "1-2 days every other week in Edmond and Deer Creek [Districts]." Both Deer Creek and Edmond school districts officials say they have no record of anyone by her name being on staff as a substitute teacher.

Edmond police said the entire marijuana growing operation is estimated at $10,000. It's unknown what the street value for the drugs is worth but it's believed for every pot plant amounts to a pound of marijuana. A pound of marijuana is estimated at $4,000.

The four arrested face charges of cultivation of marijuana, possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute as well as possession of drug paraphernalia.
