Oklahoma City Man Arrested in Death of Unborn Child

OKLAHOMA CITY – A man has been arrested in the death of his unborn child.

According to Oklahoma City Police, officers were called to Baptist Hospital regarding a domestic assault March 31.

The victim, who was pregnant, told officers that the father of her unborn child, 19-year-old Deontaye Frederick, had become angry with her and punched her in the stomach.

She went to Baptist Hospital for treatment after she began to have stomach pain and suffered vaginal bleeding. 

Frederick was arrested and faces a first-degree murder charge.
