OKLAHOMA CITY – An Oklahoma County Sheriff's deputy recovered several pounds of crystal meth April 4 during a routine traffic stop.

Police said that two men in the stopped vehicle, at Interstate 35 near Britton Road, became nervous and were inconsistent in their stories. The driver consented to a search of the vehicle and the deputy found 5.5 pounds of crystal meth hidden in a front quarter panel of the truck.

The two men, 19-year-old Lucas Villarreal and 27-year-old Javier Cisneros were both arrested and booked into the Oklahoma County Detention Center on one complaint each of trafficking illegal drugs.

It's estimated that the street value of the meth is worth $140,000 to $150,000.
