OKLAHOMA CITY -- Several members of a naval squadron who served in Vietnam reunited in Yukon on Thursday. Many of the men haven't seen each other in more than 40 years.

The men were responsible for flying A4 Skyhawks off naval carriers from 1959-1963.

"It brings back a lot of memories that sit just under the surface and when you see somebody you remember lots of things that happened," said Michael Cater, who was part of the Attack Squadron 94.

Jack Endacott was the squadron commander leading his fellow navy men through Vietnam. His pride has not and will not age.

"Very proud of these guys. They were young kids then, now they're senior citizens just like I am. They're the same fine people they were then and are now," Endacott said.

The group's first reunion was a little more than two years ago, but it was a much smaller turnout, which is why this time around was so meaningful.

The men said they hope to reunite more often from here on out.
