EDMOND, Oklahoma -- An Edmond graphic designer's work is getting some national attention. Ben Stone recently won a design contest for one of three new drinks from Mountain Dew.

Stone said he first learned of the contest on Facebook, entered and won. His design is now featured on the Mountain Dew "Distortion" drinks being sold in stores across America.

"I was excited because after I tried all three of the new flavors, this was by far my favorite," said Stone.

The other two flavors are "White Out" and "Typhoon."

"I really like the idea of a pretty black can and this real strong blast...That's if you tried it...It's the sense you get from it," Stone said.

It took him a month to design the label and his name is even on the can.

But there's a catch. The new flavor is one of three Mountain Dew is testing out. Right now, the company is letting people vote on which flavor and can design they like best. If Stone wins again, his work becomes a permanent product.

"I may be a professional graphic designer but I'm also probably their biggest fan as you can tell, so I think I should get a chance," Stone said.

You can vote for Ben's design on the site Dewmocracy.com. Just click on the Vote Now banner at the top of the page, fill out the form and select "Distortion."
