Woman Dies After Being Reported Naked on Motel Sidewalk; Boyfriend Arrested

OKLAHOMA CITY – A man has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of his girlfriend, who was found naked and injured inside a motel room.

Early Monday morning Oklahoma City police say they received a call of a woman lying naked on a sidewalk. By the time police arrived the woman had managed to get herself into her hotel room at the Motel 6 on 820 South Meridian. When police opened the door, they found the victim unresponsive. She was transported to a local hospital where she eventually died.

The woman's death was first ruled suspicious and after the Medical Examiner examined the body, they determined the woman had been killed.

Police interviewed witnesses at the hotel who reported they had heard fighting coming from the victim's room. Upon further investigating police found and arrested the victim's boyfriend.

Dennis Oclaray, 29, was booked into the Oklahoma County Jail on one count of first-degree murder.

The woman's name has not been released.
