Grand Opening Held In Tulsa For Early Childhood Education Center

TULSA, OK -- A new place for teaching young children had a grand opening Friday.

Tulsa Educare II is near 36th Street North and Peoria. It's an early childhood education center. 

It focuses on kids, from newborns up to four-years-old, and helps more than 160 of them get a head start in life.

"Not just support for the children, but support for the family in general so that we can make sure that the kids leave and the families leave with the resources that they need to prosper," said Kynita Humphrey, Tulsa Educare II Director.

Tulsa Educare is a nonprofit trying to break the cycle of poverty through education.
