TULSA, OK -- A volunteer from the Tulsa Area Chapter of the American Red Cross has been deployed to assist with Red Cross relief efforts in Tennessee. John Wolfe left for Tennessee on Saturday morning.

Wolfe will be doing house-to-house damage assessment for the Red Cross, which will help disaster victims receive assistance more quickly.

This won't be the first time Wolfe has responded to disaster areas. He has experience working in the aftermath of the Picher, Oklahoma tornado, the Iowa floods and wildfires in Southern California.
