Tulsa firefighters rushed to save a dog that suffered smoke inhalation when its owners' home caught fire near 35th and Peoria.

TULSA, OK -- Tulsa firefighters rushed to save a dog that suffered smoke inhalation when its owners' home caught fire near 35th and Peoria Sunday evening.

The fire happened at about 7:00 p.m. Sunday.

After getting some oxygen, the dog came around.

Its owners were not injured.

Firefighters aren't sure what sparked the fire, but believe it started in the kitchen.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
