TURLEY, OK -- Two men are in the Tulsa County jail after a grocery store employee spotted the pair inside the Warehouse Market in Turley.

The employee was going to work at the store in the 6300 block of North Peoria at about 4:30 a.m. when he saw a man trying to force open a cash register.

The employee called 911.

Tulsa County Sheriff's Office deputies arrived on scene and confronted the two men inside the store.

Deputies say one man gave up, but the second man took off on foot.

With the help of a Tulsa Police K-9 officer, deputies found the second man hiding in the nearby woods.

That man suffered a minor dog bite when the K-9 officer located him.

Deputies say he also suffered an eye injury when he fled into the woods.  He was taken to a Tulsa hospital to be checked out.
