Downed Tulsa Highway Light Pole Results In Pair Of Accidents

TULSA, OK -- Tulsa Police are looking for the driver of a pickup truck which caused a series of crashes on U.S. Highway 75 at the 41st Street exit ramp late Thursday night.

Police say the pickup truck driver was north on 75 missed the 41st Street exit and struck a light pole, knocking it onto the highway.

A car following behind the pickup was able to avoid the pole, but two motorists behind that car were not.

A northbound SUV swerved into a car, causing the SUV to flip.

Police say two people in those two vehicles were taken to Tulsa hospitals.

The driver of the pickup truck which hit the pole abandoned the pickup truck a few blocks east of U.S. Highway 75.
