BARTLESVILLE, OK -- A Bartlesville businessman suspected of setting a massive fire last year in Bartlesville is expected in a Florida courtroom Friday for an extradition hearing.

That hearing will determine if and when Robert Boyce will be sent back to Oklahoma to face arson charges in a fire that destroyed the Mays Brothers building in downtown Bartlesville in August 2009.

If Boyce waives his extradition, he will be returned to Oklahoma.

Police in Florida arrested Boyce on Monday after getting a tip he was in the state.

He had been on the run for several months after a Washington County District Court judge issued an arrest warrant for him earlier this year.

Boyce was the owner of a restaurant that was housed in the Mays Brothers building.
