ROGERS COUNTY -- An overturned semi trailer truck carrying home building supplies and some chemicals closed a stretch of U.S. Highway 169 in Rogers County Saturday.

The highway was closed for 11 hours, re-opening at about 1:30 p.m.

The spill was first broadcast as hazardous chemicals spill, but there were no hazards to the public, said Rogers County Emergency Management Director Bob Anderson. The semi was carrying a wide variety of goods, including plumbing supplies and other home goods - even mouse traps and pillows for a Norman store.
