The University of Nebraska announced during a press conference Friday it will apply to the Big Ten conference.
While not an official member of the Big 10, the move to apply marks another school's likely departure from the Big 12.
The University of Colorado left the Big 12 Thursday, choosing to move to the Pac-10.
