OKLAHOMA CITY -- Route 66 in front of the Oklahoma landmark and restaurant Pops is flooded.
Rescue teams evaluated the situation and were considering evacuating people from the popular gas station and tourist attraction. The business resembled an island Monday afternoon. A rescue boat was on scene, but the water was receding.
According to rescue teams, 26 people were inside Pops. Some are workers from the nearby tree farm. Since water was receding, rescue workers let the situation stand. People just waited to go home, but crews continued to monitor situation as more rain fell.
