TULSA, OK – The City of Tulsa and Tulsa County leaders have reached a tentative agreement Wednesday night to settle a $220,000 unpaid utility bill at the Tulsa County Fairgrounds.

Tulsa County had refused to pay storm water and trash fees when the city annexed the land.

"Tulsa County and City of Tulsa officials, through mediation, reached an understanding this evening regarding the disputed fairground storm water utility fee," said Kim MacLeod, City of Tulsa. "The understanding is in draft form and both parties agreed the terms would not be discussed as it is subject to approval by the Tulsa City Council and Tulsa County Public Facilities Authority."

The Tulsa city council will consider the deal at its meeting next week.
