TULSA, OK -- Tulsa Public Schools got a big of a budget boost Thursday when the state's second largest school district received its final check for fiscal year 2010.
The school district says they gained a little ground and will end the year $7.5 million short, about $3 million better than they anticipated.
But district leaders still aren't sure what it means for next year's budget, which begins July 1. They're also not sure whether they will be able to re-hire the 286 teachers whose contracts were not renewed.
