Homeowner Catches Men Suspected of Breaking Into Tornado Damaged Home

OKLAHOMA CITY – Three men were arrested last week after a homeowner claimed he caught them inside his tornado damaged home.

Police were called to the home in the 14800 block of S.E. 75^th Street on Wednesday. A 911 caller reported that he had caught three men looting the house that was damaged in the May 10 tornado. The homeowner grabbed a highway patrolman who held suspects at gunpoint until officers arrived, according to a police report.

Police arrested the three men on complaints of second degree burglary.

All three men were supposed to be working at a nearby house, according to the police report.

The men were identified as Jaime Gonzalez, Juan Augustine Orta Perez, and Gasca Ruben.
