TULSA, OK -- Two busy Tulsa moms struggled to find babysitters and they knew they weren't alone. So those two moms got together and a Green Country business was born.

Lesley Wilkin says going to boot camp three days a week is more than just a workout.

"A little bit of freedom, being able to do something for myself," said Wilkin.

But without a sitter for her son Cruz, Wilkin says it wouldn't happen.

Now with Kids at Play on site Wilkin and her son go together.

"I can still get my workout in and the girls are here to play with Cruz, so it works out both ways," said Wilkin.

It's a unique idea -- daycare that comes to you. They also cater to corporate events and weddings.

Two moms who co-founded the company say they came up with the idea when they got tired of turning down invitations.

"We all have kids and how many times have you, a wedding or a reception, where one of us had to stay home because one of us couldn't find a babysitter? Or maybe you've been to a wedding or a reception and you hear some kid screaming in the background and it interrupts the whole event," said Shelly McIntosh, Kids at Play co-founder.

Now the kids can come too. In addition, Kids at Play sitters are all trained in CPR and first aid.

"Every one of our employees is at least college age or older, and we'll do an in-depth background check," said Cristin Odom, Kids at Play co-founder.

And it doesn't matter if the event is indoors or out. They bring plenty of activities to keep kids busy.

"We're out here at boot camp today so we have the park equipment to play with, but we bring more outdoor stuff games, sidewalk chalk, bubbles, that sort of thing here. When we do more of indoor events we bring indoor games, sometimes we bring DVDs for the kids to watch, books, crafts, art projects, that sort of thing," said McIntosh.

Kids at Play is available during the work week too. They say they'll provide childcare at your work place when kids are out of school for Spring Break or parent teacher conferences.
