TULSA, OK -- The 129th East Avenue bridge over Interstate 244 was closed Tuesday morning for what the city of Tulsa says was the 'repair of a failure through the deck.'

The City of Tulsa reports the outside westbound lane of I-244 under the bridge is being closed for motorists' safety during the repairs.

The city says repairs should be completed by Thursday.
