BIXBY, OK -- The Bixby Police Department says a man who prompted a Silver Alert Thursday morning was found safe and sound in Tulsa early Thursday afternoon.
Police say Vonnie Smith was last seen at 8:30 a.m. at his home in the 13000 block of South 74th East Avenue.
Smith is an Alzheimer's patient.
Smith left his home Thursday morning in his car. He was located in Tulsa and his family came and picked him up.
