PAWNEE, Okla. (AP) -- A grand jury will be convened to investigate Pawnee County Sheriff Roger Price.
District Judge Jefferson Sellers signed an order Tuesday to convene the grand jury. The order comes after Price was charged last week with grand larceny and two counts of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
He's accused of stealing a car-hauling trailer and driving two vehicles that were seized in drug arrests.

Prices' attorney - Stan Monroe - says the judge's order "seems premature" because there is no evidence to confront or contest.
Monroe says Price wants to defend himself against the charges.
Sellers declined to say why he ordered the grand jury to convene.
Price free on personal recognizance and remains in office.
