TULSA, OK -- An 18-year-old Tulsa teen was taken to a hospital after he was shot once in the right thigh Monday evening.
Tulsa Police said officers responded to a shooting in the 3800 block of East Woodrow Street at about 9 p.m.
The victim told officers he was standing in his front yard when he was shot.
He said a black or blue Ford Crown Victoria pulled up to the curb and the four males in side started making derogatory statements regarding his gang affiliation. A back seat passenger then pointed a black 9mm pistol out the window and shot at him multiple times, striking him once.
Police say the wound was non-life threatening.
Police officers recovered several 9 mm rounds at the scene.
