Two Major Service Plazas On Oklahoma Turnpikes To Close

OKLAHOMA CITY -- You may deserve a break today, but don't expect to find them on the H.E. Bailey or Muskogee Turnpikes starting soon.

Two service plazas on major Oklahoma turnpikes will close for construction Monday, according to the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority.

The Chickasha Service Plaza on the H.E. Bailey will go dark when EZ Go closes its doors at 7 a.m. McDonald's will close at the end of business Sunday, August 8.

There will be no access to the rest stop until it reopens just before the holiday season with a combined EZ Go/McDonald's store.

The Muskogee Service Plaza on the Muskogee Turnpike will be partially closing Monday, August 9 with the entire plaza closing to all traffic Sunday, August 15.

This plaza is also scheduled to open before the holiday season with one store combining both the gas station and McDonald's.
