Tulsa Store Burglar Starts Fire As He Leaves The Store

Tulsa Police are looking for a burglar who broke into a store early Thursday morning and then set a portion of the store on fire when he left.

TULSA, OK -- Tulsa Police are looking for a burglar who broke into a store early Thursday morning and then set a portion of the store on fire when he left.

Tulsa Fire and Police were called to the KMart at 21st and U.S. Highway 169 after the store's burglary and fire alarms sounded.

Tulsa Police say someone broke in, busted a display case with golf clubs they got in the sporting goods section, stealing video games.

On the way out of the KMart, police officers say the suspect started a small fire in the store's garden center.

Firefighters were able to contain the fire.

There was no damage to the inside of the store from the fire.

Police are now checking to see if the store's surveillance cameras caught pictures of the burglar.
