TULSA, OKLAHOMA -- A front brought cooler temperatures to northeastern Oklahoma Tuesday.

News On 6 meteorologist Alan Crone said the high temperatures in Northeast Oklahoma will be much cooler Tuesday than they were over the last few days.  "Temperatures in the lower to mid 80s will be common across the northern third of the state, but some lower 90s will be possible across southeastern OK," he said.

Dick Faurot's Weather Discussion

Crone said the cloud cover will be increasing as will the north wind.  But what about rain?   "Some showers or storms will be possible across the western sections of the area," he said.

News On 6 meteorologist Dick Faurot agreed, saying the rain will be spotty.  "Some areas will get decent amounts of rain, but it will be spotty," Faurot said.

Crone said the cooler temperatures will last through most of the week, with the forecast calling for some areas falling into the 50s by Thursday morning.
