TULSA, OKLAHOMA -- A West Tulsa elementary received a quite a donation for students and teachers Wednesday.

An area non-profit group put out a call for help for Park Elementary.  What they got were tables of crayons, glue sticks and nearly every other school supply you can imagine.

It wasn't just students who stocked up, but teachers and staff got help where budget cuts have taken a toll.

"I don't want them to be stressed out about the school year about not having the copy paper, the paper towels or whatever," said Susan Collins, Project Reach. "There's that underlying factor that the teachers don't need to deal with that. They need to concentrate on the kids."

The group, called Project Reach, donated shoes to every student for Christmas last year and bought treats at an ice cream truck for students who had perfect attendance.
