GUTHRIE, Oklahoma -- A judge has ordered a teenage girl to stand trial for the murder of her father.

Prosecutors in Logan County said 15-year-old Kaleigh Fryer asked her 21-year-old, married boyfriend Jerry Chiles to kill her father.

Chiles admitted to police he stabbed and killed 42-year-old Lewis Fryer on May 13 in the family's Guthrie home. He claimed Kaleigh Fryer left the door open and showed him where the knives were kept in the kitchen.

Kaleigh has denied asking her boyfriend to kill her father, and her attorney said Chiles' credibility and motives are questionable.

Chiles has reached a plea deal with prosecutors. He agreed to plead guilty to murder in exchange for testifying against his girlfriend. He'll be sentenced to life in prison without parole instead of facing the death penalty.
