81st Street In South Tulsa To Narrow To One Lane

TULSA, OKLAHOMA -- One lane of 81st street just east of Memorial in South Tulsa will be closed Wednesday, September 1, 2010, and Thursday, September 2, 2010, as part of a widening project, according to city officials.

Traffic will be limited to one lane Wednesday and Thursday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. so crews can remove a barrier wall. It's part of a project to widen 81st between Memorial Drive and Mingo Road.

City officials said a flagman will direct traffic through the area, but drivers should expect delays.
