3.6 Quake Hits Near Jones Tuesday Evening

OKLAHOMA CITY -- About 7:46 p.m. Tuesday, the Oklahoma Geological Survey recorded a 3.6 earthquake in the Jones area.

The quake struck just 4 miles southwest of Luther and about 4.28 miles northwest of Jones.

No injuries or damage has been reported.

Report feeling Tuesday evening's earthquake.

Researchers said quakes of 2.5 to 3.0 magnitudes are typically the smallest felt by humans.
