Severe Weather Expected Across Northeast Oklahoma Thursday Night

TULSA, OKLAHOMA -- Severe weather could develop across some parts of Oklahoma Thursday evening as a cold front moves across the area.

A number of counties in northeast Oklahoma are under a severe thunderstorm watch until 10 p.m. Thursday, including Tulsa County, Cherokee County, Osage County, and Washington County.

News On 6 meteorologist Alan Crone said Thursday morning we can expect winds of up to 70 m.p.h. and hail as the storms move from the northwest to the southeast across eastern Oklahoma.

The front is expected to clear southern Oklahoma by 3 a.m. Friday, bringing fall-like weather Friday and Saturday, with warmer weather forecast for Sunday and Monday.
