Another Small Quake Hits Near Jones Saturday Morning

JONES, Oklahoma -- A 3.1 magnitude quake struck the Jones area Saturday morning.

The quake hit 4 miles south of Luther and 6 miles northeast of Jones at about 11:22 a.m.

This is the second quake reported in the area in since Tuesday.

No injuries or damage has been reported.

Researchers said quakes of 2.5 to 3.0 magnitudes are typically the smallest felt by humans.
