2.3 Magnitude Quake Hits Johnson

JOHNSON, Oklahoma -- A 2.3 magnitude earthquake struck Johnson Tuesday evening.

The quake hit seven miles southwest of Prague and eight miles northeast of Earlsboro at about 6:25 p.m.

A 2.2 magnitude earthquake hit Jones a few minutes later.

No damage was reported from the small quake. Researchers say 2.5 to 3.0 magnitude quakes are typically the smallest felt by people.
