Texas Man Pleads Guilty To Miami, Oklahoma Bank Robbery

MIAMI, OKLAHOMA -- A Sherman, Texas man accused of robbing the same Oklahoma bank twice in 2010 has pleaded guilty in federal court to the second robbery.

Leslie Palmer, 45, was arrested following a police chase in Miami on June 17, 2010.

Palmer was identified as the man who robbed the Security Bank in Miami just before the chase.

Miami Police believe he also robbed the same bank on March 19, 2010.

The U.S. Attorney Office in Tulsa charged Palmer with both robberies. He did not enter a plea to the charges in the March 19th robbery.

His sentencing is set for December 15.

He faces up to 20 years in a federal prison.
