TULSA, OKLAHOMA -- A man charged in a deadly crash that happened December 24th, 2009 and killed three members of a Sand Springs family will stand trial.

Steven Jameson is charged with three counts of first degree manslaughter, drug possession and driving without a license.

Prosecutors say Jameson crashed his Hummer head-on into a car on state Highway 51. Michael Mulanax, 42; his wife Angela, 41, and their son James Mulanax, 18, were killed.

Jameson's attorney says it was an awful accident that happened just as it was beginning to storm and that drugs were not a factor.

Jameson is out on bond. He goes back to court on October 4th.
