CATOOSA, OKLAHOMA -- A freight train and a semi carrying landscaping rocks connected at a Catoosa railroad crossing Tuesday morning.

Catoosa Police says the train's engineer said the truck had just begun to cross the Burlington Northern Santa Fe railroad tracks when the engine struck the semi.

The driver of the semi, Winston Gault told police he did not see the train before crossing the tracks.

The truck is owned by J.D. Delivery Services of Sapulpa.

The collision pushed the truck down the tracks, scattering the landscape rocks along the way.

Neither the truck driver nor the train's engineer was injured in the collision.

Catoosa Police said the railroad crossing had signs but no crossing bars.
