OSU Warns Students, Faculty of Reported Assault on Campus

Oklahoma State University sent an e-mail to faculty and students Tuesday informing them of a reported assault of a female student on campus.

STILLWATER, Oklahoma -- Oklahoma State University sent an e-mail to faculty and students Tuesday informing them of a reported assault of a female student on campus.

The e-mail said the student had just left the OSU library Monday night and was getting into her car in the Whitehurst parking lot when she was assaulted.

After a brief struggle, the suspect fled on foot. The woman suffered minor injuries, according to the e-mail.

The suspect was described as a young adult white male, with short hair, 5'5" to 5'7" tall and weighed between 140-160 pounds.
